Who we are?

Do-It-Better (DIB) Travel is our home-grown online platform that facilitates easier and more sustainable business travel for corporates and municipalities in the Nordics. We strive to provide a simple-to-use but powerful one-stop-shop for individual business travellers across all relevant transportation and hospitality channels, creating both financial and sustainability visibility for corporate purchasers. We’re 10 years young, present in Stockholm and Belgrade, have a platform-first mentality and strive to grow with our customers.

Role Overview

As Financial Controller at DIB Travel you will have the main responsibility for the financial processes in our different legal entities and ensure that the internal and external reporting is timely and accurate. You will drive the development of the accounting processes together with the finance team and will continuously work with the streamlining and automation of our transaction flow. This role is based in Stockholm, and you will report to the CFO. You will be working closely with the finance team that is based in Belgrade, Serbia.

What you'll do?

• Drive and continuously improve processes for accounting, reporting, and consolidation, ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements.
• Manage the group consolidation and group reporting processes
• Prepare the financial reporting on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
• Financial Management and optimization of working capital and cash flow
• Main responsible for reporting and management of taxes (CIT, VAT etc)
• Support and participate in the financial planning and forecasting processes including analysis of performance and variances.
• Manage Payroll processes for the Swedish entities
• Work with external advisors and suppliers in areas of e.g. accounting, tax, audit, system implementations, process improvement and reporting requirements
  

Who are you?

• You are a positive and engaged person who loves to take initiatives and drive them to completion
• You have a university degree in Finance, Accounting or similar
• You have minimum 7 years experience from work in broader financial management, accounting and/or financial controlling
• You have experience in group accounting, consolidation and reporting
• You are structured and used to working independently
• You have strong analytical and communication skills
• You speak and write Swedish and English fluently
  

Its great if you

• Have experience from the travel industry, SaaS companies and/or e-commerce companies
• Have experience from using MS Business Central, Power BI (or other BI tools)
• Have experience from system implementation and/or automation projects
